Uninvited Guests

One morning Jack had woken up to the sound of song birds singing in the air. He got out of bed a fixed up a breakfast for himself. He ate slowly because today was his free day. Enjoying the taste of scrambled eggs and pancakes he read the newspaper. He finished every page of it. He went to go do the dishes. When Jack finished he'd forgotten to make his bed. He made his bed and making sure there were no creases. Then he headed on down stairs. He got into his casual clothes, and then headed for the door

All of a sudden he heard a scratch. Maybe just a cat he thought but then it came louder. His heart was pounding. He was sure he had seen the door know turn. When he was about to run up the stairs he heard somebody say, "If scream I'll cut your neck." He didn't dare move a muscle. Then his instincts popped in. He was a well trained sword fighter. He found his sword gleaming in the sunlight. He kicked the unknown man in the leg. He rolled for his sword. It was 3 feet long and was as heavy as a feather. Then he looked at the man and made a quick estimate. 6 feet and 7 inches, somewhere around 200 pounds. He saw a gun in the mans left pocket. The burly man was reaching for it but he was stabbed in the stomach.

Jack didn't like guns and threw it out of his window. Then went down stairs and noticed the door was now open. He looked around and heard a faint screeching sound coming from the kitchen. Another man was searching the counters for something. Jack crept up behind the man. The mans ears twitched only for a split second then Jack snapped his neck. The man fell down to the ground. Now he needed to throw the men out. He dragged the men to the river, kicked them into the river and there bodies floated to the bottom. Then the currents pushed the flimsy bodies down the river. He ran home and just in time to see his mom come home.

She said, "How many times do I have to tell you to close all your doors Jack?"
